After two years of hard work it was time to bring the OysterJets team and our closest friends together for a little celebration. We are beyond proud of our dedicated team members and grateful for our reliable partners. Without them we would not have come so far.
Our team members are spread all over the continent, hence gathering everyone in the same place at the same time takes some planning. Finally we made it happen: Crew, back office and business partners came together in person.
Varied programme
Our day consisted of various items on the agenda:
After a meet & greet at the office, a part of the group visited the Spanish Riding School. This Austrian institution located in the Hofburg Vienna is dedicated to the preservation of classical dressage and the training of Lipizzan horses. On site we heard about the baroque Winter Riding School, the Summer Riding School and the stables of the Lipizzan stallions, located in one of Vienna’s most prominent Renaissance buildings for more than 450 years – the Stallburg. Our group was particularly interested in the connection to the Habsburg dynasty as well as Vienna’s history and of course the Lipizzan stallions.
Having all our pilots in the same room together is a rare opportunity and so we set up a meeting to get everyone up to speed on operational changes and share the latest crew gossip.
In the evening we asked everyone to join us at the Ritz-Carlton Vienna for a reception and dinner, obviously with some oysters to get started. 
Meeting face to face makes for great conversations! Lots of ideas were exchanged throughout the day. Thanks everyone for a marvellous time.
